You guys hear of the Nuzlocke challenge? Here is a copy paste.

On 4chan's /v/ there's a new challenge for playing Pokemon called Nuzlocke. The rules are as follows:

1. Catch only the first Pokemon in each area.
2. Release them if they faint.

Basically it adds a fun layer of difficulty if you've played these games a lot. Also, it can be frustrating, since you usually have to say no to catching Legendaries, Shinies, and would possibly need to release your starter.

You can ignore the non catching of Shinies if you want. Rules aren't set in stone. Just follow the basic rules.

i've done this tons of time. it is annoying sometimes but otherwise quite fun
