trouble typing ingame(act X after patching)

ok so as some of you heard when i log on and get in to dfo it wont let me type at all. so meaning i cant speak to anyone nor make new characters. anyone have suggestions on what could be the problem?

i had a problem like this....go into window mode, click the text option on your language bar while DFO is still selected as main screen

nothing, it still doesn't work. dfo is on main screen.
