in order to begin batch scriptting, you'll need something you can loop.
alright first find your action tab
if you can't find it use alt+f9 or go to your photoshop windows tab and click actions.
next click on the folder icon this will create a new "set" afterwards click on the icon next to the folder
once this is created it should appear like this with a red ciricle lit up
now do whatever the heck you want! once its done it should be something like this.
do these as your final actions for a loop highlight all of your layers and press ctrl e, this will merge them now
press ctrl s to save. afterwards click on the blue rectangle to finsh what you want to be looped.
to begin batch scripting go to file -> automate -> batcha popup like this should appear
next click on your set drop down box
and click the one you made, in my case its recolor.
now do this for the action drop down box as well
because your created a new set and made an action it should only have one
now to set up what files you want to script
the source should be folder.
the file, find whatever it is you want to recolor in a large amount, find the file location
here it shows C:\user\sprite_char_gunner_effect_g2.nk\katana1701c.img as my folder location
if you would like to include the sub folders that are in this location click the subfolder box
everything is set up now but you need to do one final thing, that an error log.
just set it up like this
the error drop down box should be save to file
and for creating the log file click on save as and put it anywhere you want.
