God Fragment -Insanity Drive-

Current Status:
>DEAD

Gonna use MUGEN, but more specifically similar elements from an Arc Systems game (GG/Blazblue) when it comes to basic controls, but how about this?

Basic Controls (Tentative/Default setting):
A:(A): Light
B:(S): Medium
C:(D): Heavy
X:(Z): Grab
Y:(X): Charge Gauge?
Z:(C): Special (For Hypers, I'll edit the list later)

Other Controls/Game Functions
Backstep: Double tap away from opponent
Running: Double tap toward opponent (hold OK), some characters won't be able to do this
Parry: Guard just as the attack is going to hit
Perfect Guard: Hold away from your opponent while pressing (A)+(S), drains 10 Mana a second. You don't take damage from guarding.
Double Jump: Press up-left, up, or up-right and do it again in desired direction, some characters will get a triple jump
Aerial Roll: Hit (A), (S), or (D) after a certain point of getting hit mid air (varies according to attacks)
Burst: (A)+(S)+(D)

Guard Animations/Crouch:
Due to lack of sprites (don't blame me) everyone will most likely share a block/crouch animation.

Crouching Guard animation may be a problem...

Crouching: Will most likely be taken from the Quick Rebound sprite

Guarding:
Slayers: Guard, Bloodlust animation
Fighters: 1st frame of 1st x attack
M Fighters: 1st frame of Power Fist animation
M Gunner: Gun Guard/Revenger initial pose
F Gunner: ^
Mage: Acid Rain end animation with a sort of Mana Shield sprite (i.e. barrier sort of thing)
Thief: Not sure which skill animation I'd be talking about, so I'll get back on that
Priest: Crossed arms, oh yeah.

Characters:
Character Stat Values:
Voices:
Arenas:
Music: DFO music only, applied as stage themes
Story: 7 Stages, dialogue and scenes in between fights, and a special final boss

Attacks and Special Moves: let me give you a few examples, staying original to DFO skills but animate them a little differently per character (for those whose moves will most likely repeat). Maybe I'll make some original skills if there aren't enough, which would most likely be the case. Some people will share moves, but not that many moves.
Legend: Let's go with numpad input keys for directions and use BlazBlue Style Attacks (Light: L, Medium: M, Heavy: H) (Decided)
Note: These are not all of everyone's moves, I'm still adding more.

As far as regular attacks go, you have a standing L M and H attack (due to lack of sprites, I can't do forward variants unless you want repetition), and one set while crouching and one set in midair. Will also include EX moves that will take some gauge to perform.

in an rpg or rts, perhaps
but not fighting

Like I said in chat I would help you with the scripting if you need an extra hand, I currently know a bit of C++, some C# (and im currently taking a class) and then if you're using that one engine you mentioned, it's probably like RPGmaker except with a fighting theme.

There exist a place accessible from the outerverse gate, but only if you know how to access it. This domain is

known as the outerrift. A place said to grant any wish your heart so desires. A Reality created by a Divine

Goddess. A place where she could watch over the humans, her many children, across the infinite number of

alternate timelines, created in her image. However it is said that The Goddess grew bored of this task and left

it in the hands of a creature known as Cosmos. She granted Cosmos the power to alter the timeline as it saw

fit. For many years Everything went as she so desired. Watching as a spectator. The Goddess was unaware of

the evil she had created. Cosmos malfunctioned shattering into two beings. The original was

supposedly lost but its shattered offspring began to rebel against the Goddess, casting Her from the outerrift.

Now with the power of a God it seeks to rule all instances of Realities.

So guys many of you played at least one fighting game before and maybe not in Story Mode at least, but in a normal arcade mode, they will be a chance for you to fight your own character.

This being said, you probably need to include a second outfit, probably just a recolour if one would end you fighting yourself.
