Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters Empty
PostSubject: Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters   Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters EmptySat Dec 24, 2011 1:50 pm

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Dragon's guide to weapons masters. In this guide I will give you a detail explanation on each skill with each weapon, build suggestions, and anything I can think of that will help you become a decent weapon master (from now on will be abbreviate as WM). A little insight on me. Been playing WM since the release pf DFO (Dungeon Fighter Online) till my unjust ban (long story). Then switched over to DnF ( Dungeon and Fighter. Basically the Korean version of DFO. Just further along in updates.) where I've been till this day. Now enough with that and on to the damn guide.

Side Note: I will For DnF only. Since eventually DFO will get what Dnf gets soon. (Hopefully soon anyways.)

How To Become A Weapon Master

Before we start let me give you my Pros/Cons on becoming WM.

Pros:
Fastest class out of all the sub-classes
Best DPS (damage per second) Of all the sub-classes
Decent PvP (Player vs. Player) class
Great solo class

Cons:
Needs a +12/13 weapon to be really effective
No effective use in parties (Otherverse Dungeons)
Needs a lot of money investment
Poor weapon durability

General Skills

Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters UpperSlashDragon's Guide To Weapon Masters CUpperSlash
Upward Slash
SP Cost: 20
Skill Input: Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters Z
Cancel: Yes
Recommended Level: 5

As the name suggests, It an upward slash of your sword. Provides little super armor and movement. The more you level this skill the more power and launch power it gains. Keep this at level 5. There's No need to max this seeing as the sp (skill points) can be put to use in better places. You can max this if you so desire and it will not hinder you in any way.

Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters Thrust
Thrust
SP Cost: 15
Skill Input: Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters X While running/dashing
Recommended Level: 5 (Prerequisite for Clash)

Basically another Thrust after your dash attack. Hold the opposite direction of the way you are thrusting to stay stationary. Hold forward to move forward with the skill. Has some nice push back. You need this at level 5 to learn Clash (stance skill).

SP Cost: 20
Skill Input: Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters DownkeyDragon's Guide To Weapon Masters Downkey+Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters Z
Cancel: Yes
Recommended Level: 5 (Max)

Holds sword up like a shield. Protecting you from damage. As long as Skill is held you'll stay in guard stance. The more you level this skill the more damage it protects you from. This skill is absolutely great. Reducing damage by 80% at max. Learn how to use this skill effectively and you'll pretty much rape anything that moves (especially in pvp). MAX THIS SKILL. IT CAN.... NO IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE. 'nuff said.

Zanbato Users: At level 5 Zanbato mastery, A successful guard shocks enemies.

Short Sword Users: At level 5 SS mastery, A successful guard shocks enemies.

Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters AshFork
Ashe Forke
SP Cost: 15
Skill Input: Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters Z While in air
Recommended Level: 10 or 30 (max) (depends on which weapon your choosing)

While airborne, drives your weapon into the ground. At a certain height, you'll create a shock-wave upon landing. The more you level the skill the bigger the shock-wave gets. Another great launcher move in your WM arsenal. Good for combo starting. If your going the zanbato, SS, or bludgeon then you want to max this since this is another primary launcher. Light-saber (LS) and katana users want to put this at 10.

Zanbato Users : At level 3 zanbato mastery, Ashe Forke get multiple hits and grants super armor.

Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters MultiSlashDragon's Guide To Weapon Masters CMultiSlash
Triple Slash
SP Cost: 25
Skill Input: Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters Rightkey+Dragon's Guide To Weapon Masters Z
Cancel: Yes
Recommended Level: 10 or 30 (Max) (weapon dependent)

Dashes forward while attacking. Only moves on the x-axis. Input the skill again for more slashes (up to three times). The more you level the skill the power it receives and launching power (LS and Katana) Great skill with a a lot of utility. It can be used for escaping, approaching, flat-out damage, and launching (LS and katana only). For zanbato, SS, and bludgeon user you want to put this at 10 for cancel and EX passive. LS and katana user want to max this. MAX IT I SAY...
